Dr. Khoa Nguyen (pronounced like “Win”) is a fellowship trained, board certified Adult Reconstruction orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in total knee and anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement, and revision total knee and hip arthroplasty.
He completed his orthopedic residency through Michigan State University at Beaumont Botsford campus, has spent time with Indiana University Methodist trauma program, Michigan Children’s Hospital, and William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Nguyen completed his fellowship training in hip and knee replacement surgery at Triangle Orthopedic in Durham, NC.
Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Academy of Hip and Knee Society. He serves on the system-wide Virtua Credentialing Committee and is a certified Virtua Physician Partners provider.
Dr. Nguyen is fluent in the Vietnamese language. His interests include tennis, basketball, and spending time with family. He strives to build relationships based on trust with his patients, and believes this leads to the best outcome and care. Dr. Nguyen’s approach to orthopedic surgery is a team approach including staff, nurses, physical therapist, surgeon, and most importantly the patient and their loved ones.
